R-15 – Vol. 6 (BD)

So, it turns out I lied about this being released next week.
Thanks to a couple of helpful individuals, I’ve been able to complete Vol. 6 despite having to study for midterms.
The decision to release without K-Timed karaoke was so that it could be released right now. Rest assured, for those who like their karaoke, that it will be k-timed in the batch.
And with Volume 6 complete, this brings us to the end of the R-15 BDs. It has been a long ride, with many ups and downs along the way, but I must say the experience was quite interesting and enlightening. I’ve realized that I’m not cut out to be a timer, encoder or typesetter (with the latter two not done by me for these releases). I’ve also learned a lot about the whole fansubbing process and Aegisub.
It may sound really cheesy, but I’d like to thank all of you who watch these releases I put my time into. It’s satisfying seeing the download count rise on nyaa and DDL sites. While I probably won’t do another solo (well, the BDs were technically 2-man) project again, I may do some BDs or CrunchyRoll edits in the future.
The OVA will be done when I feel like it.

R-15 – 12 (BD) Question: Insert Song Karaoke? [Update]

Note that the time it takes for release decreases as you go down the poll options.
(i.e. Full karaoke takes longer while English only will get the release out faster).
Also, I will, at the batch, add full karaoke to all the insert songs.
I ended up going with the option that was in the middle: Romaji/Kanji + English.
Batch will include k-timed insert songs.

With this, there’s only 1 volume left until the BDs are complete.
After that, I’ll finish up the long-overdue OVA.
Volume 6 should be released about 2 weeks from now since I have midterm exams coming up soon.
Being the karaoke fag that I am, I’m proud to say that I updated the karaoke for Utae’s song to match the official lyrics + added kanji. Episodes 1 & 2 will be updated at the batch. I will try and find the lyrics for the Episode 12 insert (if someone already knows where to find them, please share).

Well, since I have decided to switch to 10-bit releases, all previous 8-bit releases will slowly be re-released in 10-bit. First up are the NCOPs & NCEDs; they’re re-released first since, well, they take less time to re-encode, I guess.

Better late than never, right?
The main reason for this massive delay is the lack of a BDMV, or a raw for that matter. I only got the BDMV two days ago and tried my best to get this released as soon as possible.
I can’t guarantee that there won’t be delays for Vol. 4; everything depends on when I get the BDMV. But until then, enjoy your Vol. 3 of R-15!
Note: The releases from now on are going to be 10-bit!

[Status Update] R-15 – Vol. 3

It’s been more than two weeks since the BD was released in Japan and yet, there’s still no raw floating around. However, rest assured, I will be continuing with the BDs once I get my hands on a raw. If anyone has access to a raw and wouldn’t mind sharing it, I would greatly appreciate it.
As for Vol. 4 (or later), I have put up a donation button for those who want to chip in. Once the amount for a volume has been obtained, I’ll order it, most likely speeding up the release for that particular volume. Any amount will be helpful – whether it be $1, $5 or $50.
Once again, thank you to all who wait for and support my releases. Hopefully, I’ll be able to release Vol. 3 before Vol. 4 is released.
